Every user on Lendly is verified through their student email, meaning no anonymous accounts. You're lending to and borrowing from real, identifiable students at your university, not random strangers from the internet. Meetups happen on campus in public, familiar locations.

Lendly uses a refundable security deposit system. Before any lending, the borrower puts down a deposit that covers damage or loss. If your item comes back in perfect condition, the deposit is returned in full. No stress, and no chasing anyone down.

Lenders set their own prices, so you can rent items for a fraction of what they'd cost to buy. Lendly charges a small service fee to make your experience better. That's it, no hidden charges.

We're launching exclusively at Queen's University first, but plan to expand soon! You sign up with your student email, which means every person on the platform is part of your campus community. This keeps things trusted, local, and relevant to student life.

Other marketplaces are open to everyone, which means unverified listings, sketchy meetups, and zero student context. Lendly is specifically built for students: clean listings, verified identities, campus meetup spots, and a lending model so you don't have to buy things you'll only use once.

Textbooks, cameras, camping gear, power tools, gaming consoles, formal wear for a single event. If it's something a student owns and another student needs temporarily, it belongs on Lendly. Most users feel comfortable lending items valued up to $100 to $150.
